According to a report received by Hengaw, in the early hours of January 16, 2025, Saiwan Yaqoubi, a 36-year-old Kurdish prisoner, resident of the village of "Bisarān" in Sarvabad County, was executed at Sanandaj Central Prison.
Hengaw sources reported that Saiwan Yaqoubi was arrested three years ago on charges of murder. As of the time of this report, the execution has not been announced by official government media.
