According to information obtained by Iran Human Rights, a man was hanged in Ahvaz Sepidar Prison on 16 December 2025. His identity has been established as Sajad Marmazi, a 22-year-old Arab man from the city of Hamidieh in Khuzestan. He was arrested around three years ago for murder.
At the time of writing, his execution has not been reported by domestic media in Iran.
