According to reports received by Hengaw, at dawn on December 26, 2024, the death sentences of two Kurdish prisoners, Asad Amini, aged 27, from Sardasht, and Saman Fakhri, aged 33, from Baneh, were carried out in Jiroft Central Prison.
The two men were arrested in Jiroft in March 2022 and were jointly convicted for drug-related charges. To date, the news of the execution of these individuals has not been announced by state media.
