According to reports received by Hengaw, at dawn on June 9, 2025, Saman Khorrami’s death sentence was executed in Karaj Central Prison. He had been arrested on drug-related charges. Other sources had already reported the executions of Hamzeh Yari and Karim Hemmati in the same prison the same day.

As of the time of this report, the executions have not been officially announced by authorities
