Sohrab Masgari executed in Gonbad Kavous Prison on April 13.
According to Iran Human Rights, a man was executed in Gonbad Kavous Prison on April 13. His identity has been established as Sohrab Masgari, who was sentenced to qisas (retribution-in-kind) for murder. Informed sources told IHR: “Sohrab Masgari had been in prison for around four years. He had committed the murder due to a financial debt.” At the time of writing, his execution has not been reported by domestic media or officials in Iran.
