Iran's judiciary chief halted the execution of a man who was condemned to death for committing a murder when he was aged 15, his lawyer said.

Iran's judiciary chief halted the execution of a man who was condemned to death for committing a murder when he was aged 15, his lawyer said. Mohammad Reza Hadadi was to be hanged at Adel Abad prison in the southern city of Shiraz. "The execution was halted following the order of the chief of judiciary Ayatollah Mahmoud Hashemi Shahrudi," Mohammad Mostafai said, adding that the supreme court also asked for a review of the case.
