This brings the number of people executed at the prison that day to four.
According to HRANA, three men were executed in Qezel Hear Prison in Karaj on 11 October. Their identities have been established as Nazir Mohammad Tajik and Nour Mohammad Barbari, both Afghan nationals, and Shahab Elhami.
All three men were sentenced for murder. They were transferred to solitary confinement in preparation for their executions along with another man. State media reported the execution of a man identified only as ‘Shahab‘ at the prison that day.
At the time of writing, the three men's executions have not been reported by domestic media in Iran.
