IRAN: THREE MEN EXECUTED IN RAJAI SHAHR PRISON 

According to Iranian Human Rights, at least three prisoners - Mostafa Mohammadi, Milad Kheradmand and Hossein Jalalvand - were executed in Rajai Shahr Prison in Karaj on the morning of 1 July 2020.
Javaneh-ha website, which first broke the news of the execution of Hossein Jalalvand, quoted an informed source as saying: “Hossein Jalalvand lived in Tehran. Next to his house, a number of addicts were using drugs. One day, Hussein Jalalvand set fire to the motorcycle belonging to one of the addicts in protest to the drug use near his house, but without knowing it, he burned a number of the addicts inside the ruins.
Although he did not have a private plaintiff and no one made a claim against him, the Tehran prosecutor acted as his plaintiff and he was sentenced to death which was carried out.”
The executions of the three prisoners have not been announced by the Iranian media or official sources.
