Three prisoners were hanged in public in the city of Shiraz (Southern Iran), reported the Iranian state media.
According to the official website of the Judiciary in Fars province, the three prisoners who were not identified by name were charged with “Moharebeh” (waging war against God) through armed robbery. They had also committed rape, said the report.
The executions were carried out in the area of Guyom in Shiraz, said the report.
Names of the prisoners were written on a big banner: Mohammad Ghareh Ghaani, Bahman Kochakpour …. Rostami.
