IRAN. TWO MEN PUBLICLY HANGED

press reports said that two men convicted on charges including murder, organised crime and assault were hanged in public in Iran.  
A man identified as Mohammad, 28, was hanged in Isfahan, central Iran, on the morning of June 21 for shooting a bank manager during a robbery. The Etemad-Melli paper said 3,000 people turned out to watch.
The second man, identified only as Ahmad, was hanged in the northern city of Qazvin for "leading a criminal gang, extortion, sexual harrassment, drug trafficking, fighting and illegitimate relationships", the report said.
