IRAN: TWO PRISONERS HANGED ON MURDER CHARGES

Two prisoners were executed at Orumiyeh Central Prison while another prisoner was transferred back to the ward due to the leniency shown by the victim’s family.
According to reports received by Kurdistan Human Rights Network (KHRN), Mehran Behshad and Farhad Alba both from Orumiyeh were executed on January 27 morning with the presence of victims’ family at the Orumieh Central Prison.
Another prisoner known as Hamdullah Mohammadpour, who had been transferred to solitary confinement with two other detainees last night, was transferred back to the ward due to the leniency shown by the victim’s family.
