According to IHRS, on Sunday, February 19, 2023, two Baloch citizens, Mansour Hut (Hoot) and Nizamaldin Hut (Nizamuddin Hoot) were sentenced to death on charges of corruption on earth (Moharebeh) during the protests in Balochistan.
According to Haalvsh website, the 2 young men were arrested in Chabahar by IRGC intelligence on September 30, 2022 and detained in Ward 9 of Zahedan Central Prison
The court session of these two Baloch men was held on Sunday, January 8, 2023, while they were deprived of the right to access a lawyer. They were sentenced to death by the 2nd Criminal Branch of the Musa Nouri Zahedan Court, on charges of "warfare" and "corruption on earth."
According to this report, Mansour and Nizamuddin Hoot were severely tortured during their detention to obtain forced confessions.
Mansoor Hoot, 27, son of Kamal Khan, married, is a poet and writer of Balochistan.
Nizamuddin Hoot, 20, son of Lal Mohammad, unmarried. Both of them are from Chabahar.
