Iranian authorities have executed Vahid Arman, a 34-year-old Kurdish prisoner from Kermanshah (Kermashan), in Yazd Central Prison. He had been sentenced to death on charges related to drug offences.
According to information received by Hengaw, the execution was carried out at dawn on November 5, 2025. Arman was arrested about a year ago on drug-related charges. He was transferred to solitary confinement on November 4, in preparation for the execution.
Iranian state media have not reported the execution.
