At dawn on May 24, 2 executions were carried out: Vahid Karimizadeh, 35, from Eslamshahr, and Farhad Farahnak, 25, from Qom, were executed at Qom Central Prison.
Karimizadeh had been imprisoned for three years on drug-related charges, while Farahnak was arrested five years ago on murder charges.
These executions have been publicly announced by Iranian state media.
