According to information obtained by Iran Human Rights, a man was executed in Shirvan Prison on 15th October. His identity has been established as Vali Heshmatpour, sentenced for murder.
A source told IHR: “Vali Heshmatpour was transferred from another prison for execution in Shirvan Prison. The murder he was convicted for took place in Shiravan.”
At the time of writing, his execution has not been reported by domestic media in Iran.
