Iranian news agency IRNA reported that a 31 year old, unnamed Iranian man, who had been sentenced to death for murder was publicly hanged at dawn. The man had shot dead Khosrow Nejati in a feud over farmlands in Sarmuneh-ye Oliya village. The death sentence was issued by a Tehran Public Court and upheld by the Supreme Court.
