IRANIAN SENTENCED TO DEATH AFTER INCLUSION IN GROUP TRIAL

an Iranian man arrested more than a month before Iran's June election was sentenced to death after being included in a mass trial over postelection protests. Ahmad Karimi was convicted of being "moharebeh", or enemy of God. Karimi accepted a job in the United States in 2008 but was arrested by Intelligence Ministry officers.
