JAMAICA. 25 DEATH ROW PRISONERS HAVE SENTENCE COMMUTED TO LIFE

Three prisoners were arrested in connection with the case. Commissioner of Corrections Major Richard Reece said there were security concerns at the institution as several "extremely dangerous" inmates were growing more restive. He said orders had been issued to restrict the movement of all inmates who had been taken off death row.
