presiding judge Masahiko Sudo of the Japanese Supreme Court turned down an appeal by Masayoshi Ozaki, 36, former restaurant owner, and Tadashi Hara, 53, unemployed. They were sentenced to death for robbing and murdering two people in Fukuoka and Oita prefectures in 2002. They were found guilty by the Fukuoka District Court in May 2005 and the Fukuoka High Court in January 2007.
