JAPAN: TOP COURT UPHOLDS DEATH PENALTY OVER MURDERS OF 2 WOMEN

presiding justice Yukio Takeuchi of the Japanese Supreme Court upheld the death penalty given to Kenji Ohashi, 69. Ohashi allegedly murdered and robbed Misako Tsuboi, 57, in Ibigawa, Gifu, in April 2005 and then Kiyoko Tanaka, 45, in Osaka, in May 2005.
