Jin Yugang, 35, was sentenced to death by the High Court for murdering his colleague, Mr Wang Hong, 32, in front of a coffeeshop at midnight on February 4, 2002. It was alleged that the two men had had an argument following a drinking session and that Jin had pulled a knife on Wang after the letter had challenged him to a fight.
