Judge Ashley McKathan overrode the unanimous recommendation of the jury and sentenced Oscar Roy Doster to death by lethal injection.
In September, a jury of 2 men and 10 women found Doster guilty of capital murder during a 1st degree burglary, capital murder during a 1st degree robbery, and capital murder by a weapon fired from outside a dwelling in the 2002 death of Paul D. LeMaster.
