Following a 10-2 vote in an advisory verdict, jurors recommended the death penalty for a Vietnamese immigrant convicted of stabbing his estranged wife to death in October of 2005. Tai Pham, 35, was convicted of 1st-degree murder in March of this year. Prosecutors say Pham when to Phi Ai apartment, waited for her to return with her new boyfriend then went after them with a knife.
