King Mohammed VI of Morocco pardoned 864 prisoners, including three sentenced to death, during the Muslim festival of Aid El Kebir celebrations. In a statement the justice minister said the death sentence of the three had been commuted to life imprisonment while 528 prisoners had been discharged.
