Kiumars Hatami, Saeed Yusef-Beigi and Parviz Safari were reported to have been executed by hanging by the local newspaper Jaam-e Jam. They had been convicted of robbing several banks and houses in Karaj, a town west of Tehran. The men were executed after their sentences had been confirmed by the Supreme Court.
