KUWAIT: DOLMA’S DEATH SENTENCE APPEALED
Prakash Kumar Subedi, deputy chief of a Saudi Arabia based Nepali mission said that Dolma Sherpa, a Nepalese woman sentenced to death for murder, appealed the verdict in an appellate court in Kuwait.

Prakash Kumar Subedi, deputy chief of a Saudi Arabia based Nepali mission said that Dolma Sherpa, a Nepalese woman sentenced to death for murder, appealed the verdict in an appellate court in Kuwait. The mission had deputed Lok Bahadur Thapa, first secretary, last week to Kuwait to find out facts about plight of Dolma, who has been languishing in Shamiya central jail of Kuwait. According to Subedi, Thapa met Dolma, Kuwaiti officials, lawyers who are following the case, rights activists and officials at the Kuwait based Embassy of the Philippines.
