A Lebanese man convicted of killing a lottery card salesman in 2012 was sentenced to death, the state-run National News Agency reported.
Bekaa’s criminal court, headed by Judge Danny Shrabia, issued a death sentence against Hasan H. for the murder of a Syrian man identified as Mohammad M.A. in the Western Bekaa town of Mashghara. Hasan H. had committed the crime to steal cash from Mohammad M.A., the NNA reported.
