the Chairman of the Transitional Government Charles Gyude Bryant disclosed that under the transitional arrangement, there would be no room for impunity for any Liberian engaging in ritualistic activities when found guilty.
The warning came in the wake of an increase in killing activities in Grand Bassa County, which had claimed the lives of over 14 children between the ages of 6 to 18 years as well as the mysterious disappearance of many children in the port city and its surrounding area. The Chairman said that anyone found guilty under the law of the transitional government would be sentenced to death to serve as a deterrent.
