MALASYIA: HAIRSTYLIST SENTENCED TO DEATH FOR KIDNAP AND MURDER OF SCHOOLGIRL

in Malaysia, hairstylist Teh Kim Hong, 25, was sentenced to death by Johor Baru High Court judge Justice Mohd Zawawi Salleh for kidnapping for ransom and murdering teenager Lai Ying Xin, 16, between September 11 and 12, 2008, in Jalan Alor Bukit Kulai. The two other accused escaped death as they were juveniles at the time of the crime.
