Malawi national Adam Wilson was sentenced by the district court in Tangerang, Indonesia, after he was found guilty of smuggling heroin. The Koran Tempo daily quoted chief judge Maha Nikmah as saying Wilson was guilty of smuggling one kilogram (2.2 pounds) of heroin. A woman who brought the narcotics to Indonesia from Hong Kong in 2001 named Wilson as the owner, the paper said.
