MALAYSIA: CONTRACTOR FAILS IN FINAL BID TO ESCAPE GALLOWS

the Malaysian Federal Court dismissed the appeal of Yeap Boon Hai, 50, against his death sentence. He allegedly burnt his wife, son and four immediate relatives to death in a shophouse on April 14, 1997. The Shah Alam High Court sentenced him to death in 2001.
