MALAYSIA: COURT DISMISSES APPEAL FOR DRUG TRAFFICKING

the Malaysian Federal Court dismissed the final appeal against the death sentence of a car repossessor. Chief Judge of Malaya Tan Sri Ariffin Zakaria found Mohd Fauzi Omar trafficked 986.9gm of ganja at Gelugor, Penang, on September 2, 2000. The Court of Appeal rejected his appeal on April 15, 2008.
