Ridzuan Taib, 21, from Jitra, was sentenced to death by Judge Datuk Azman Husin of the Malaysian High Court for murdering his grandmother Basah Ahmad, 75, at a house in Taman Berlian in Jitra, on May 11, 2008, when he was 18 years old.
