MALAYSIA: DEATH SENTENCE ON SUB-CONTRACTOR UPHELD

Court of Appeal President Tan Sri Alauddin Mohd Sheriff and Federal Court judges Datuk Seri Md Raus Sharif and Datuk Abdull Hamid Embong of the Malaysian Federal Court upheld the Taiping High Court's 2009 death sentence on sub-contractor Rosli Shaik Yahaya, 46, for trafficking in 4,645 grammes of cannabis in Taiping on February 5, 2000.
