MALAYSIA: DRUG REHAB INMATE SENT TO GALLOWS

33-year-old Kajang Drug Rehabilitation Centre inmate D. Muthut was sentenced to death by Malaysian High Court Judge Mohd Yazid Mustafa for murdering inmate Song Chan Seng, 43, in 2006. He said although the murder weapon did not have any bloodstains, he accepted evidence from witnesses who saw Muthu attacking the victim with a sharp object and dropping it on the ground before trying to flee.
