an Indonesian national from Aceh was sent to the gallows by the Malaysian High Court for trafficking in drugs. Judicial Commissioner Abang Iskandar Abang Hashim handed down the sentence after finding labourer Muklis Jaafar, 31, guilty of trafficking in 866gm of cannabis. The offence was committed along Jalan Shahpadu, Kampung Teluk Kapas, Rantau Panjang, in Klang at 9.45pm on Sept 21, 2004. In sentencing, Abang Iskandar said he had considered Muklis' statement given from the dock and found it to be unreasonable and not credible.
