MALAYSIA. MAN SENTENCED TO DEATH FOR CANNABIS

Mohammad, 31, who was wearing a gray T-shirt and blue jeans appeared calm in the dock when the sentence was passed. Mohammad from Keramat, Kuala Lumpur, was alleged to have committed the offence at Jalan Jurutera near Jalan Puchong on December 22, 2000. The drugs were found in a bag on the front seat of the car driven by the accused.
