The first man, from Peru, was sentenced to death by the Malaysian High Court after he was found guilty of trafficking 714 grammes of cocaine along the roadside near Jalan Sultan on May 15, 2007. Judicial Commissioner Azman Abdullah passed the sentence on Amasifuen Tello Reyes, 30.
A police team acting on a tip-off trailed Reyes from Kuala Lumpur International Airport after he arrived on a transit flight from Buenos Aires to Singapore.
X-rays revealed more than 100 small tubes in his stomach.
In Shah Alam, a man from Aceh was sentenced to death by the High Court for trafficking in 406.93 grammes of cannabis three years ago.
High Court judge Datuk Syed Ahmad Helmy Syed Ahmad found Indonesian contract worker Faisal Abdul Aziz, 33, from Aceh, guilty of trafficking in the drug at an oil palm plantation in Dengkil at 5.30pm on Jan 3, 2006.
