MAN, 23, TO HANG FOR KILLING HIS LOVER

aged only 23, John Ndunda Mwanika is to hang for killing his boss and burying her in a kiosk after being caught in a love triangle. In August 2005 Ndunda was caught by Ms Mutindi with a younger lover, and following an argument he hit her on the head repeatedly with an iron bar until she dropped unconscious. A postmortem examination revealed that Ms Mutindi died shortly afterwards from the head injuries. Police told the court that Ndunda had confessed, and the judge found that he had intended to kill her and made no attempt to seek medical help for her.
