Moroccan Justice Minister Mohamed Bouzoubaâ declared himself in favour of the abolition of the death penalty in the country. "I'd be amongst those to applaud if the death penalty were abolished in Morocco," declared the Minister in answer to a question put forward by the press regarding the ten death sentences issued on July 12 in Casablanca against members of the Salaria Jihadia movement.
