A Myanmar’s military court in June 2022 sentenced Wai Zin Yan, Thu Htoo Aung, and Min Htet Thar to death under section 302 of the penal code for an incident, Human Rights Watch reported on 5 December.
They were death sentenced for allegedly shooting and killing a ward administrator in north Yangon on 24 May 2022.
