Nguyen Tat Tung, a 31 year old farmer, was executed in northern Vietnam for stabbing to death his father and younger brother following a dispute over family inheritance, state media said.
He was put to death by firing squad at dawn at the Trung Son Tram execution site in Son Tay, the provincial capital of Ha Tay province.
He was condemned to death for his murderous rampage at the family home in January 2002 during which his uncle and a neighbour were also injured, the Nong Nghiep Vietnam newspaper said.
