Human Rights Writers Association of Nigeria (HURIWA) urged the Federal Government to stop the trend of extra-legal executions by introducing safeguards and punishing offenders. HURIWA noted the increasing spate of extra-judicial killings, including the gruesome murder of the 45-year old father of five children, Mr. Ndaliman Usman, who was murdered in Lagos State by a police corporal.
