Nigeria - Mayowa Omolaye, 30, sentenced to death for murder

Mayowa Omolaye, 30, has been sentenced to death by hanging by an Ado Ekiti High court for the murder of Mr Tayo Oluwabusuyi. Mayowa was said to have murdered the man on May 30, 2009. The prosecution said Omolaye confessed to the crime, claiming he slit the throat of his victim. Justice Lekan Ogunmoye delivered the judgment.
