NIGERIA: SUPREME COURT AFFIRMS DEATH SENTENCES ON FOUR ROBBERS

Justice Olufunke Adekeye of the Nigerian Supreme Court confirmed the death sentences passed on Samuel Attah, Vincent Friday, Ikechukwu Sunday and Hyginus Oformata for armed robbery by the Kano Federal High Court. That decision was also upheld by the Court of Appeal, Kaduna, on January 6, 2009.
