On December 21, Christina Riggs, the only woman on death row in Arkansas, said she was ready to die and told a Pulaski County judge she wanted no more appeals made on her behalf. Riggs is the former nurse from Sherwood who was convicted of poisoning and suffocating her two small children in 1998.
