Opposition True Path Party [DYP] deputy leader Mehmet Saglam declared that his party's stand at the Turkish Grand National Assembly with regard to the execution of terrorist leader Ocalan would be in favour of his execution. Saglam said that his party wanted to abolish the death penalty in Turkey in terms of harmonization with Turkey's EU candidacy status, but Ocalan's case must be handled separately.
