A condemned prisoner was hanged in district jail Attock early in the morning.
The convicted Basheer had killed his cousin on dispute of proposal back in 2001. Strict security measure was taken outside and inside the prison.
The convicted had killed his cousin named Zakia over dispute of proposal and local court had granted him death penalty.
His appeal against the death sentence were rejected by higher judiciary and after that magistrate had issued his final warrant for execution and it was implemented today.
The jail administration has handed over the convict’s body to his family members after legal formalities.
