A man involved in robbery and murder was awarded death penalty on 10 March 2021 by a court in Rawalpindi.
According to details, additional and sessions judge Farkhanda Arshad has awarded death sentence and seven-year imprisonment to the murder convict. She also imposed Rs50,000 fine on the convict.
The murder convict has been identified as Wasim Akhter.
Saddar Bairooni Police had arrested the accused on charges of killing Tahir Abbas during a robbery in 2019 and filed a case against him.
