PAKISTAN: DEATH SENTENCE AWARDED TO ONE

in Jaranwala, Pakistan, Additional district and session judge Farooq Altaf awarded the death sentence to Zaheer Aalam for shooting dead Awais over a minor issue on September 11, 2007. Zaheer’s brother Shahzad was sentenced to life imprisonment and two other accused received two year sentences.
